Situated 8 miles up river from Kinsale on the banks of the Bandon river lies Kilmacsimon Quay. Originally a port for coastal vessels up to 1500 grt, a boatyard has been on the site since 1972.

Accessible from Kinsale by vessels drawing up to 3 metres with air draught of 5 metres, the boatyard lies on a sheltered bend of the river Bandon at Kilmacsimon.

It’s uniquely sheltered location makes Kilmacsimon the ideal place to lay up your boat during the winter months. Safe handling of your vessel is carried out with a purpose built boat hoist.
